The Commercial Lines Account Manager is an integral part of the Agency/Client relationship. If you love working and talking with people, an Account Manager role is a great fit for you!

This role will work on-site in our Eastern Regional office located in Exton, PA 2 days per week, allowing for remote work 3 days per week.

Essential Functions:

General Client Management

• Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with clients by meeting and exceeding expectations.
• Provide consistent, accurate, timely, and pertinent communication to clients through “constant touch” via phone calls, e-mails, etc.
• Monitor client satisfaction level.
• Respond to client inquiries or needs within the established timelines.
• Manage day-to-day issues for clients such as certificate requests, change endorsements, etc. utilizing carrier websites.
• Assist in design of or independently design insurance plans for clients.
• Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures.
• Produce binders, certificates, policies and other related items accurately and on time.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings as necessary.

Renewal

• Establish and coordinate with the client a realistic renewal timeline.
• Ability to analyze, negotiate, and prepare carrier renewal.
• Develop written, graphic, and electronic renewal materials.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 2-4 years’ experience in Commercial Insurance along with a thorough understanding of all Property & Casualty insurance coverages.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license or willing to obtain one within an agreed upon timeframe.
• Must be comfortable with internet-based programs as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.
• Commitment to high-quality customer service standards.
• Ability to manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
• Ability to foster cordial, effective relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers and other business contacts. Ability to work in a team environment.
• Enthusiastically pursue industry information, new product information, legislation, and insurance designations to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
